Tile and Texture was built on the shoulders of a giant. I spent over 5 amazing years learning from one of the best and most respected designers in our area. Kate LaCount and her business (Rooms With a View Interiors) taught me about tile, flooring, and design but also the deeply personal, client focused arena we operate in. She taught me how to love this industry.

Before starting on this journey I worked as a product designer, crafting and building digital experiences. I loved what I was doing but at times, I couldn't help but feel like I wasn't having a lasting impact on people. Kate helped to open my eyes about creating real and lasting impacts on peoples lives.
